Each year around Christmas it is celebrated and it is one of its biggest signs of identity. It is “La Pastorela”, a pastoral dance of adoration to the Child Jesus that several men of the town dressed in shepherds do.
The Pastorela is composed by several shepherds dancing and a zarragón, being this one the one that directs the dance and the one that marks the times of the same evolving from front to back between the two rows of shepherds that are placed in front of the altar where the priest celebrates the mass.
One of the most striking aspects of this tradition is the clothing men wear who compose the Pastorela. They are dressed like shepherds but like in other centuries.
